HSR ICYMI ♡₊˚ 🍒

Time for my favorite part of the week, ICYMI!!!

ICYMI ₊♡₊˚ 🍒・₊✧ ₊

♡ This Week’s Mantra: Beautiful things don’t need to be told they’re beautiful, they just are.

♡ This Week’s Podcast: Remember when I went viral for investigating the bizarre bankruptcy sale of JVN Hair? Well it turns out Jonathan Van Ness saw the video and went on Gloss Angeles (the same podcast I did) to spill the tea and breakdown what really happened with JVN’s President, Teresa Lo. SO MANY TAKEAWAYS and I’ll definitely be doing an entire video/ podcast about this whole thing but 3 quick thoughts…1) This could not be a better example of how shockingly bad some celebrities’ deals are structured (hint: JVN didn’t negotiate or have equity in a brand named after him) 2) it was another cool moment for me (similar to BeReal) to see how not far off I was from the truth based on my experience building, incubating and investing in celeb brands and 3) it is crazy to see the power of social media and how my name was mentioned not only on the podcast but also in the episode description… manifesting JVN to be on the HSR podcast one day but for now, listen here!

♡ This Week’s Life Lesson: Contained Delusion. Payton Sartain and I officially coined a new concept on my latest episode of her podcast, NTS. We’ve all seen lucky girl syndrome or the concept of being delusional to get ahead, but when speaking about how that’s worked for me in my professional life, I got honest about how being an eternal optimist and totally delusional about things always working out for me had worked against me in my personal life, specifically in dating. Over the past year, I’ve had to work with a therapist to peel back the layers of delusion about things just working out and actually get into the work I had been putting off to become my hottest, smartest, richest self and ultimately find a dynamic with Lucky #3 that continues to move in the right direction…

♡ 5 Things to Say To Yourself Every Single Morning This Week:
I don’t create for my critics, I do it for my community
My haters don’t pay my bills
 My voice has value
 My opinion matters
I don’t need to be right, I just need to keep learning

♡ This Week’s Word: Fika [fee-ka] - Swedish - not your average coffee break, fika is a moment to slow down and appreciate the good things in life, most often done with friends, family or colleagues.

♡ This Week’s Task to Get To Know Yourself Better: Complete the free Human Design quiz to discover how your specific intuition works, what your personality is, your unique way of eating, manifesting, and so much more.
